From our grow

Notes from the room it grew in.

118 Gas grew fast and stayed consistent through the whole cycle, no surprises in the tent. The colas filled in dense with a heavy coat of trichomes, and for most of flower it barely smelled like anything. The pepper and citrus showed up together in the last two weeks and never let go after that. We gave it a standard cure, long enough to round off the sharp edges without losing the punch. Hand-trimmed and hand-jarred, the same as everything else we grow here.

Terpenes · 1.07% total

What you're smelling.

Terpenes are the aroma oils in cannabis, and they shape how a strain feels as much as how it smells. 118 Gas runs on caryophyllene. Here is the full lineup, in plain English.

Caryophyllene

0.41%

Dominant · Cracked pepper & clove

This is the same compound found in black pepper and cloves, and the only terpene known to act directly on the body's CB2 receptors. It gives 118 Gas a grounded, settled edge that keeps the high level even as the percentages climb.

Limonene

0.25%

Lemon peel & orange rind

This is the citrus oil in lemon and orange peel, and it is usually the first terpene to announce itself in a fresh jar. Here it adds a bright note up front before the pepper takes over.

Linalool

0.21%

Lavender & soft florals

The same compound behind lavender's calming reputation. It smooths out the profile and keeps the smoke from feeling sharp or jittery.

Humulene

0.12%

Dried hops & earth

An earthy terpene also found in hops, with a dry, woody character. It sits underneath the louder notes and rounds out the finish.

Effects, honestly

How it lands.

118 Gas opens fast for a hybrid built this balanced. The limonene shows up first, a brief lift in mood and focus, and the caryophyllene follows close behind to level it out. Most people feel the full shape of the high inside the first ten minutes.

From there it holds a steady middle ground. Relaxed but not heavy. Clear-headed but not wired. At 22.12% THC this sits in moderate territory, easy to dose and hard to overshoot by accident, and it works equally well in the afternoon or the evening. If your tolerance is low, start with less than you think you need and wait ten minutes before deciding on more.
