Edibles in Las Cruces.
Gummies and infused food at 1595 El Paseo Rd, every package printed with the milligrams inside it. If the label confuses you, hand it to whoever is behind the counter and they will walk you through it before you buy.
What sits on the edible shelf.
Gummies carry most of the shelf, because they are the easiest thing to dose accurately and the easiest thing to split. Higher Cultures Gemmies, made with live resin rather than distillate, are a regular. Brands and flavors rotate week to week, so call us at (575) 523-5918 for what is in the case right now.
Distillate gummies
Made with refined THC, so the flavor comes from the candy rather than the plant. The cheapest way to buy milligrams and the most predictable to dose.
Live resin gummies
Built on an extract that keeps more of the original plant's terpenes. People who care about how a strain tastes and feels tend to end up here.
Single-piece packages
One piece, one dose, nothing left in the bag to reconsider later. A good way to try a brand before buying ten of them.
Multi-packs
Ten or twenty pieces in a resealable pouch. Cheaper per milligram, and the resealable part matters if there are kids or pets in the house.
High-milligram packages
Built for people with a tolerance they already understand. Worth asking about only if you have a number in your head before you walk in.
Whatever just landed
New brands come through often. If you want the newest thing on the shelf, ask what came in this week.
The two numbers.
Every edible in New Mexico has to print milligrams per piece and milligrams per package. Those are different numbers and mixing them up is how people end up surprised.
A bag reading 100mg total with 10 pieces inside is a 10mg gummy. The 100 is what you would get by eating the whole bag, which nobody is asking you to do.
Our edibles guide goes deeper on why the wait is so unpredictable and what happens in your liver to make an edible feel different from a joint.
The clock
| First effects | 30 min – 2 hrs |

| Total duration | 4 – 8 hrs |
| Before redosing | Wait 2 hrs |
Across the cannabis industry, 5mg is the dose most often pointed to as a starting point for someone new to edibles. That is general guidance repeated by regulators and retailers, and it is not medical advice or a recommendation for you specifically.
Buying them here.
Bring a government-issued ID showing you are 21 or older. We take cash and debit, and there is an ATM by the counter. New Mexico does not allow cannabis to be paid for online, so every purchase closes out at the counter. Call ahead on (575) 523-5918 and we can set something aside for you.
Whatever the shelf tag says is the whole price. Tax is already in it, so an edible marked $12 costs $12 at the register. The rest of our board is on the prices page.
We are open Monday through Friday from 8am to 9pm and Saturday through Sunday from 9am to 9pm, about five minutes from downtown and from NMSU.

Questions about edibles.
Do I need a medical card to buy edibles in Las Cruces?
No. Any adult 21 or older with a valid government-issued ID can buy edibles here, resident or visitor. New Mexico medical cannabis patients can also shop with a valid patient card and ID.
How much do edibles cost at Couth Cannabis?
It depends on the brand and the total milligrams in the package, and the shelf turns over often enough that a fixed number here would go stale. Call us at (575) 523-5918 and we will read you what is on the shelf and what it costs. Whatever we quote is the tax-included, out-the-door price.
Can I order edibles online for pickup?
You can build the order online and we will have it ready, but New Mexico does not allow cannabis to be sold or paid for online. Checkout happens at the counter when you come get it. We take cash and debit, and there is an ATM by the register.
How long do edibles take to kick in?
Most people feel the first effects somewhere between 30 minutes and 2 hours after eating, and the effects tend to run 4 to 8 hours from there. Both windows are wide because the liver step that makes an edible work varies from person to person. Our edibles guide explains the chemistry.
